T. C. PRICE

Never before in the history of the United States has an individual epitomized the “American Dream” more than Tiffany Cheri Price a/k/a/ T. C. Price.  Born in arguably one of the most crime ridden, drug infested cities in the U.S.A., Newark, New Jersey served as T. C.’s unfortunate place of origin.  While there have been countless stories written about Americans turning “tragedy” into “triumph” perhaps none is more deserving of recognition than the life story of the ultimate survivor, T. C. Price.  Unlike many children who grow up enjoying youthful activities such as riding bikes, jumping rope, playing video games, or spending quality time with friends, to the contrary T. C.’s childhood was anything but normal.

Growing up one of six siblings to a loving mother and an abusive, alcoholic father would both “scar” and “shape” T. C. Price’s life.  However, before her life could take shape, the emotional scars she suffered would ultimately threaten any chance of happiness she could hope for in the future.  At age ten, with her life already in a dysfunctional state, she witnessed her mother being brutally pistol-whipped and left for dead, and later had to cope with her family’s home burning to the ground, forcing T. C. and her family to seek refuge at neighborhood homeless shelters.  After two years of moving from one dangerous shelter to the next, a life that seemed incapable of getting worse hit rock bottom. Having withstood years of torture in the form of beatings, mental cruelty, and infidelity at the hands of her madman husband, finally took a toll on T. C.’s mother bringing about a downward spiral of epic proportions.  A schizophrenic due to years of grueling beatings, T. C.’s mother who was a caring and incredibly beautiful woman, embraced crack cocaine as an escape from a life of pain and suffering.  So addicted to crack her mother did the unthinkable one day while T. C. was just twelve years old, and with her father non-existent in her life, dropped her off at a neighbor’s house and never came back.  Forced to become a ward of the State, she moved in with foster parents who contradicted the stereotypical ward providers by being positive in ways that her biological parents weren’t.

Although she received unconditional love and support from her foster parents, in particular her foster mother,

T. C. still had to contend with losing her first child at age 16.  Now factor in becoming a drug dealer, victim of two abusive relationships, and having to identify her best friend’s body at the morgue on her 25th birthday, and one might wonder how the petite and stunningly attractive T. C. Price became the super successful woman she is today.  Well, the answers are simple according to T. C.; she credits God, her foster parents, siblings, undeniable talent, and a never quit attitude for all of her accomplishments.  Blessed with an angelic singing voice coupled with a writing style that’s sure to make her book entitled “I’m Strong Enough” one of the must reads of the new millennium, has the unofficial “Ambassador of Foster Care” positioned to become one of the greatest authors/singers of our generation.  A gifted singer since the tender age of three T. C. Price has more than paid her music dues.  Having been signed to a couple of fledging independent record labels as well as sharing the stage with countless superstars to include George Clinton, Lil’ Wayne, Naughty By Nature, Fabolous, Amerie, and G-Unit has thoroughly prepared the one of a kind storytelling singer for superstardom.

The consummate businesswoman, T. C. is as great an entrepreneur as she is a talent.  The former, owner of two highly successful gift shops, million dollar sales executive for Nordstrom and Mercedes Benz, and the CEO of 2209 Publishing Company serve as definitive examples of her business brilliance.  A modern day renaissance woman, T. C.’s ambition for success takes a backseat only to her vast humanitarian interests—The American Cancer Society, Jenna’s Rainbow Foundation, and her own charity which is dear to her heart, I’m Strong Enough, created to help children living in foster care.

With a life story that reads like a novel this voting Grammy member who credits Academy Award winner Mo’Nique, and multi-platinum artists 50 Cent and Ne-Yo as her biggest inspirations may soon become the “it” personality of the entertainment business.  A media darling T. C. has appeared on numerous television news broadcasts.  Armed with a lifetime of invaluable experience, a thriving career, and a one of a kind heart are the attributes that make T. C. Price’s life the quintessential definition of the “American Dream” realized.
